About Us:
We are a busy workshop that provides servicing and repairs for light vehicles. Additionally, we provide towing services and a depot for our wide-ranging services across South Australia.
We have plans underway for a redevelopment of our existing on-site workshop in the near future, and are looking for a fresh, enthusiastic, and hardworking customer service champion to help us take our business to the next level.
The Opportunities (Multiple Positions):
We are currently in search of a highly motivated Workshop Supervisor / Team Leader who possesses exceptional leadership skills within a small team.
The ideal Workshop Supervisor / Team leader will ensure smooth operations and administration of our country workshop. You will lead and allocate workloads to a team of mechanics while managing the daily operations at the workshop reception.
In order to succeed in this role, you must be capable of:

Greeting customers at service reception, booking in service and repair work while maximising available mechanical hours.

Providing direction to the workshop mechanics on bookings for servicing and repairs of vehicles.

Managing customer feedback.

Preparing quotes and invoices and using workshop software.
-
Managing adequate stock levels of high turnover consumables such as parts, accessories and components.

Ordering, checking deliveries and invoice processing.
-
Monitoring market prices to ensure competitive sourcing.

The position may also require some travel between sites, suppliers and transporting customers.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
-
Trade qualifications or equivalent experience.
-
National Police Check clearance.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook.
-
Forklift license.
-
Valid South Australian driver's license.
-
Valid Heavy Vehicle Drivers License (Minimum MR)
Preferred:
-
Mechanical background (Light or Heavy Vehicle).
-
Accounts experience in data entry and MYOB or Xero and industry-based workshop software.

Excellent customer service experience.
-
Experience leading small teams within a workshop environment

The renumeration for this position will be based on your skills, experience, and the value you can contribute to the team. In addition, we offer the successful candidate the use of a company vehicle for work-related travel, along with a provided business phone.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to assist the company with Tow Truck Driving out of hours to earn some reasonable overtime as well as enhancing their skills through roadside assistance, towing and recovery.
